Identified by Paul Cannon, "a bag seal from a sack containing a brand of pig meal. It appears to have the same inscription on both sides as DANEX / REGE. The small superscript letter/s at the end of ‘Reg’ may be ‘E’ or is it ‘D’?
The following is from an advert promoting the product. It contains the following “YEOVIL CENTENARY SHOW, 1933 / PIG MEAL DANEX REG’D / OUTSTANDING SUCCESS OBTAINED BY / “DANEX” (Reg’d) FEEDING”. The prizes awarded to pigs form the central part of the advert. The lower part indicates “MANUFACTURED BY:- BODLEY, JERRIM, & DENNING, Ltd., BRISTOL & AVONMOUTH”.
