"...In 1880, Charles Anger, a miller from the banks of the Orne Bully, partners with its owner’s son to create a mill street Victor Hugo, on the port of Caen, near the future power plant.
At that time, France had about 50,000 mills of which 2000 steam. Ten traditional (hydraulic) mills were installed on the course of the Orne between Evrecy and Bully.
