From Philippe Lanez, "This seal is a Polish one, for a State entreprise created in 1952. Krochmalnia means STARCH, French Amidon, GLOWNO is the place name. The coat of arms is of Lubicz, Wrobleski and Gruszecki families. I have not yet established a link between families and plant."
From Michel Royer, "it should read : SUPERIOR which is the best starch quality (see ZAKŁADY ZIEMNIACZANE).
This seal is before the second world war because the starch factory of Głowno already existed in the period between the two wars, dates from the years 1924/1925 (it is quoted in newspapers of this time like that of Republika in 1931 see bottom of page 8 / 10)
K an R for Kazimierz Henryek-Wincenty count. Rzewuskiemu who was the owner and with the representation of his coat of arms (Krzywda coat of arms)."
