Thought to be dyers one-part (bulla type) seal, very similar to those shown in Fig.37 in Geoff Egans 'Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum' which he categorises as a dyer's one part seals found ‘in some numbers ... from Trig Stairs to London Bridge’. He dates them from the late 16th to 17th centuries.
