DOVA(I) between horizontal lines, scrolling above and below. Other side - stylised palm tree in rayed circle, scrolling around .D. at base.

"Several similar seals have been found at London and there is one from Paisley in Scotland (Paisley Museum collection). ... Cloths were sealed at Douai from at least the mid-fourteenth century ... The town produced camlets in the early-modern period, to which the present seal can tentatively be attributed."
