W. Robinson & Son (Seeds & Plants) Ltd. seal. William Robinson, started the nursery in 1860, see Our History 1860 - 2013. However they are based in Lancashire rather than Lincolnshire and the following personal communication was received from Susan Robinson, "We have been based at Forton in Lancashire for all of the 153 years so the seal will not be one we would have used. Robinson is a fairly common name, indeed there used to be a seed house called Dixon and Robinson in Manchester in the early 1900's with no connection to ourselves. The seal is more likely to come from a grass or feed merchant."
