An Exeter clothier's seal, information & image forwarded by Mike Patrick who also supplied the following newspaper article from The Ipswich Journal - Saturday 17 October 1807, "On the 18th of August, William Tucker, junior, a serge manufacturer and banker, of Exeter, and likewise of Cornhill, London, neglected to appear to a Commission under the Great Seal, making him bankrupt, and having due notice thereof, for 35,000£. did not surrender nor submit to be examined on the above day, in consequence of which he was proclaimed an outlaw, and apprehended at Greenwich, and committed for further examination."
