"Bonvarlets mill was built in 1891 in the territory of Coudekerque Branche [a suburb of Dunkirk] along the canal of Bourbourg. Every year they milled 10,000 tons of local wheat for consumption in the Region, as well as imported wheat from the colonies of Great Britain and Belgium.
