One disc of a four disc county alnage seal for Gloucestershire. The last figure of late seventeenth century date is illegible as are markings that appear between the date and each letter of the county abbreviation. The RN may well be the initials of the alnager and III for 3d subsidy charged on the cloth it was attached to.
