Two discs from a four disc alnage seal. One showing Britannia seated, holding spear in the crook of her left arm and olive branch aloft in her right hand, shield to her left and the figure 4 to side, all in a circular corded border. The other disc with the bust of George I with (R) M B to side, all in circular corded border.
Similar to No.171 Fig.28 in Geoff Egan , 'Lead cloth seals and related items in the B.M. (B.M.occ.papers 93)' "head of George I // Britannia seated, holding spear and olive branch, shield to right, 6 to left". On this seal, sheild is also to right but duty paid is 4 instead of 6 and is to the right not the left. See also No.154, Fig.27.
