From Cigar factories in Eindhoven, "Lambertus Sundermann, born 19-7-1868 in Zutphen, is a cigar manufacturer in Woensel since 1877, when he has the factory built.
He lives alternately in Eindhoven and Woensel.

Already on 3/19/1898 there is an advertisement in the Meierijsche Courant by Cornelis Mari�n who is looking for personnel for the former factory of L. Sundermann. This is probably in the Linen factory on Street 78, which was bought by Mari�n in 1905
The tender for the factory on the Fellenoord was in January 1897 and the opening in January 1898.
From 1877 there are factory overviews of the Municipality of Woensel, fairly irregular in the years until 1900, then every year. Collecting and reporting the data is also a bit messy. Two different participants and two lines of thought can be distinguished; in 1889 1890 1891 1892 and 1900 the name of the manager is used.
In 1886 1893 1896 and 1898 the name of the company.
The distinction between owner and manager is not too clear. As an example: according to the Struve and Bekaar Industry Statistics of 1888, the Firma Lurmans en Co. exists in Woensel. in Eindhoven (management: Johs.F. Lurmans there).
According to municipal statistics, it seems that Lurmans is in charge of the factory Sundermann.
As early as 1901 there are reports of the bankruptcy of Sundermann.
In the Meierijsche Courant it is denied that in Tilburg it is stated in the newspaper.
In 1903 it really happened. House and factory are for sale and the contents are for bailiff Somme.
After his bankruptcy he is employed by the new owner and lives at the factory, his house in the city has been sold to van de Schoot. Work continues on a modest scale under the name L. Sundermann.
In 1903 by 13, in 1904 by 13, and in 1905 by 16 workers. But behold, at the end of August 1906 there is a new NV: "Sigarenfabriek Eindhoven NV, formerly L Sundermann". In Feb. 1908 the NV is dissolved again.
He comes from Eindhoven on 06/16/1903 lives at the factory at Fellenoord 111, Woensel and will go to Den Bosch on 11/2/1908."
