BSG.BS.01404 — Morrell's Bag Seals

Found in Yorkshire, 23mm.

Large round seals with a raised strip on one side and a raised rusty protuberance in the middle. From examining the combined seals the name Morrell's is definite. Other letters discernible are MS and SKI? skimmed maybe as in milk? or Skinless as NL is also apparent?

There was a Morrells Brewing Company between 1782 and 1998 in Oxford.

Possibly sealed lids for some liquid product. See Morrells Wood Finishes Ltd, founded in 1902.
