There are a series of Norwich cloth seals with the initials of the Mayors of Norwich on but these normally have the initials above the date and CN (Civitas Norvicum) below and a lion rampant on the other side. Two RW mayors of Norwich are known - Sir Robert Wood in 1578 and Roger Weld in 1599. None of the names of the mayors in the 1630's have the initials RW.
