Found in Gloucestershire.

"2 heavy lead items found with a scrap of leather around a protruding 'stud'. Shown are the two, one without the leather."

ID from Puffin, "Water pump clack valve weights. The valve would have been made of leather, the weight makes the valve slap shut prevent the water disappearing back down the well. I believe it was the sound it made when the valve closed."
